Making a DIY tent, welcome advice.
I am about to begin making a new tent with the help of my daughter. I am looking at building a single pole tarp teepee. I already have a 18x29 camo tarp from HFT. My calculations show that this should make a teepee with a diameter of 16 ft and a peak 11½ ft tall. This should allow for a little bit of room in the shelter. The center pole will double as an antenna mast for my ham radio. I would also be adding a stove jacket to allow for extended season use and a floor tarp.
My question for the group is what would you add to this kind of tent? Also has anyone had experience with a tarp teepee?
