Day seven of drinking through a bunch of old beer in my fridge using glassware that is as geographically close as possible
2018 Wicked Weed BA French Toast
Olde Hickory glass (no idea of what this type of glass is called… anyone know?)
As always refrigerated from new.
Well, after the Hunaclypse of 2026, I didn’t have high hopes for another adjunct laden stout. The nose on it wasn’t reassuring either as it smelled oxidized.
The nose lied.
This is drinking wonderfully. All three flavors (cinnamon, vanilla and maple syrup) are still present. The maple isn’t quite as strong but the cinnamon and vanilla are.
I got zero oxidation and the barrel is still there.
It was good enough that my wife wants to split it now so that should tell you something lol.
