My Grandfather’s Vacheron Constantin 222
Hi All - posted about this watch a couple years ago (see below), and revisiting as my grandfather is now looking to sell it to a pawn shop offering him $10k. Curious if anyone has any knowledge about this or can appraise, as I’m interested it purchasing it off him instead.
This is my grandfathers watch that he bought in Saudi Arabia in 1984 in his time as a commercial pilot. I am looking to get a bit more information about what exactly it is and a general value. After some quick research it appears to be a non jumbo variant 222, similar to reference 46003, but I am having trouble finding anything matching the two tone bracelet with the champagne/gold sigma dial. Any info/clarity you could provide is much appreciated! Thanks!m
