Kind of a specific question: But DOES Goofy have a tail or not?
I have been wondering this my whole life. One of the thiings i have noticed about Goofy is that he's less "animalistic" and more "human" than Mickey or Donald. Donald is definetely the most animal like out of the trio, with his quack-like voice and his aggressive nature. Other show animal-like characteristics, like Panchito Pistoles constantly yelling like a real rooster, Chip and Dale annoying Pluto and the other animals etc. But Goofy has nothing in common with an actual dog. He's way taller than Mickey and Donald, doesn't have a lot of dog-like traits.. and he also lacks a tail!
Do you think he tucks it in his pants? I have noticed that none of the "dogfaces" in Disney (even Pete, although he's a cat), none of them seem to have tails, but they all wear pants. If i'm not wrong, in his early appearance Goofy was called Dippy Dawg, was pantless and had a tail. In the 2013 cartoons he is seen again with one, along with Pete.
