MCU's Multiverse is so damn complicated… I tried to actually make sense of it
Hey folks so I am trying to understand what the MCU multiverse actually is and there I was stuck between 2 ideas:
1. There are multiple seperate universes with their own big bangs and timelines inside each one(I prefer and why so I explained later)

2. Everything is just branched timelines of one main universe (616)

So, heres why I was confused and then my tldred theory(wrote so much after thinking and checking back stuff and other forums BELIVE ME THIS IS ACTUALLY THE SHORTENED VERSION) ok so this is where im starting from (MCU timeline stuff):
· first time I remember hearing multiverse was ancient one in Dr strange 1, but idk if she meant literal multiverse or just dimensions like dark dimension quantum realm etc……from my understanding she meant dimensions and after the scene in Loki season 2 where Mobius said kang of 616 adjectent quantum realm was taken care of I believe each universe has there own quantum realm(or there adjacent quantum realm), or things like Valhalla and Dark Dimension etc.
· Then we get a basic idea about it in endgame about the timeline (ancient one + hulk talk about branching)
· Loki makes it super clear that branching timelines are happening due to nexus beings and is a problem because of He Who Remains(lets call him HWR from now) wants a looped Oroborous and the TVA
· TVA was pruning branches to protect the sacred timeline, which i think is basically the sacred timeline of 616 only, not the whole multiverse
**Kind of the confusing part:**
In Loki, HWR explains it like there are parallel worlds with tons of kang variants, and he is trying to stop another multiversal war. but what exactly are those other worlds
**option A:** other universes are seperate big bang universes like 616 has its own origin, same for 838 or universe with earth 10005 (xmen) has its own origin own big bang, and it also has timelines inside it (like days of future past basically feels like fixing the timeline inside the same universe where a new timeline inside 10005 where jean, cyclops are alive again )
same with Fantastic Four universe, Tobey’s universe and Andrew universes etc, they exist on their own, not because 616 exists
**option B**: all universes are just branches of 616 meaning 838, 10005, f4, tobey, andrew etc. are all just branches that split so long ago that they crossed a red line and butterfly effect made them totally different worlds, basically unrecognizable now
both options create problems
**if option A is true I find only one issue:**

**if option B is true**
· why werent these worlds pruned ages ago
· if TVA was serious about preventing kang variants, how are there so many kangs still chilling (quantumania post credit where i)
· and if HWR isolated the sacred timeline, how can branches survive without the trunk right
· also what even creates all these seperate universes in the first place, like what is the in universe physics reason back in time not during after big bang that caused a paint universe
what i currently believe is that **option A** makes kind of more sense with some changes(the version that makes most sense in my head)
I think it basically follows this structure **omniverse > pocket universes(bubbles) > timelines** let me try to explain it with some theories in physics like eternal inflation and many world interpretation it basically goes like this:
· omniverse is like this huge inflation due to high potential energy background, kinda like a false vacuum with insane energy constantly expanding crazy fast
· random quantum fluctuations make some regions cool down into lower energy pockets and reduces the potential energy there
· each pocket becomes a bubble universe and inside that bubble you get a big bang and a whole universe grows (galaxies, stars, everything)

So 616 is one bubble 838 is another bubble 10005 is another bubble Andrew’s another bubble and Tobey’s yet another etc etc……then inside each bubble you still get branching timelines like many worlds interpretation, quantum outcomes branching constantly, most of it microscopic and irrelevant, but big macroscopic branches are the ones that matter for story stuff (nexus events etc which needed TVA pruning before HWR died)...
· HWR basically only had control over the 616 bubble (not the entire omniverse) he shaped 616 timelines into an ouroboros loop and kept it clean using TVA pruning and made it isolated from the rest of the multiverse so that other varients like ramatut, immortus don’t meddle with him….He only took care of his varients within the 616 timeline which occurred due to nexus events within the universe of 616 and he did it all while in the quantum realm for a long period and victor timely, the kang varient in quantumania and hwr are all the same beings just in different timelines or even in the sacred timeline just at different times in reality whereas Ramatut or Immortus are like different different like what Andrew or Tobey Spidermen are to Tom's
· Now Loki later allows everything to branch freely and holds it like yggdrasil, but its still just the 616 bubble, now with infinite branching inside it and creating infinite realities due to FREE WILL

This also solves why some universes look animated(if we consider spiderverse) or paint-like(as in Dr strange MOM) if each bubble forms with slightly different locked physical constants during its formation (speed of light, particle masses, force strengths etc) then you can get wild outcomes so one bubble ends up looking normal like 616 another bubble ends up looking animated and then something like 100005 or 838 which gets locked up at almost a similar energy state as 616 so physical constants mostly similar but yet rest of the history is different
same concept basically different physics settings locked in at birth of the pocket universe/bubble

so my simple mapping is
omniverse = eternal inflation background
multiverse (like 616 or 838 or 10005) = seperate bubble universe with its own big bang
inside each bubble = branching timelines via many worlds interpretation like 616 has branches like 2012 loki going out of hand to take tesseract, or captain staying in past and similarly 10005 has its own branching example the one in days of future past where logan fixes the trask problem
and this kind of solves the TVA problem in Deadpool Wolverine
Earlier TVA under HWR was disconnected or isolated from the TRUE MULTIVERSE(which here I call the OMNIVERSE) they only took care of the multiverse formed due to branched timelines within the original universe of 616 all whose branches had a single big bang for there orgin
or after loki broke the oroborous and created the Yggdrasil he broke the old system and gave free will with infinite branches creating connections with other multiverses, TVA now has the abilities to check bigger multiverse interactions because everything is colliding more (which kinda fits that quantumania council scene line about them interacting with the multiverse)

And for Quantum Realm as I said either every universe has one or say 616 adjacent one also then the quantum realm kind of a tunnel between the timelines not actual universes and that’s how they can do time travel in Endgame
And with this we can see that America Chavez is so unique because of her ability to transcend from ONE ENTIRE MULTIVERSE say 616 to 100005 to 838 to paint one or Tobey one etc. and it’s a bigger feat compared to just doing time travellers because there are many other ways to time travel in the multiverse Wanda wanted someone to jump to different MULTIVERSES within the Damn Omniverse

anyways thats the best I could come up with and I feel in Doomsday ….Doom is not just going for throne of Yggdrasil to shape it his way but wants to control every damn thing in the entire Omniverse because not just the branches of Yggdrasil are causing incursions its happening because its interacting with other multiverses(or say bubbles)!
if anyone has a better way to connect loki TVA sacred timeline + quantumania kang council + deadpool wolverine TVA + all these earth numbers in MOM and NWH without any plotholes which might serve well for Doomsday.
