Bear got into food container
Hey everyone, I’m looking for some tips on how to prevent this from happening next time.
We were camping in the El Dorado National Forest area. Black bear country. We’ve camped in this spot for years never had an issue, until this past weekend at 5:30 am a bear was loudly grubbing on our food! It busted into my food container & one of the dogs chased it off. Demolished most of my dry food.. none of the produce, only the junk food (fat ass).
Anyone got any tips on how to prevent this? Possibly any gear you suggest that can lock it up better? Thanks!
