My high: 🍊😊 My high was definitely picking the most pomelos and then turning them into something delicious! I spent time, sharing it with my neighbors, preparing them to make pickles, jam, and fresh juice. It was a lot of work, but seeing all those pomelos and knowing they would become different homemade treats made it so enjoyable and satisfying. There’s something really special about preparing food from what you’ve picked yourself. It was tiring, but definitely worth it! 😋❤️
My low: 😂 My low was looking at the kitchen afterward! Let’s just say it was quite a disaster, the kitchen was messy everywhere! Between all the pomelo preparation, jars, utensils, and everything else, there was a lot to clean up. But I suppose a messy kitchen is sometimes a sign that something delicious and productive happened there. 😄🧽🍊
My high was spending some peaceful time with my family and appreciating the little moments. My low was feeling a little tired and stressed. Looking back, I am grateful for simple conversations because they can become our most precious memories. I invite
MY HIGH: The best moment was yesterday's solar eclipse. This happens very rarely in life. The last one I saw was 27 years ago. I wrote a post about it yesterday. The summer sunset on August 12th doesn't just paint the sky red: the Moon "bites" a large piece out of the Sun. Unfortunately, we could only see a partial eclipse from Hungary. Where I live in Hungary, this is where you could enjoy this magical, phenomenal sight the best!
MY LOW: The worst moment was when I went over to the old lady in the morning who had a stroke 12 years ago and whom I visit every day. I have a key and found her lying on the bed in the bedroom. She couldn't get up on her own. She weighs at least 100 kg; I weigh 60 kg. I was alone; I couldn't call for help. She clung to my neck, and I tried to lift her completely abandoned body. Unfortunately, she kept falling backwards, wailing and crying that she couldn't sit up, and her thigh was cramping in the back. I always had to let her go back and massage the cramp out of her thigh. She managed it on the fifth try, but I was already crying from helplessness and pain. But then she managed it with great difficulty!! She probably caught a cold from the fan last night; her back or kidneys were hurting a lot. The doctor on duty came in the afternoon; She's better now. 🙏
