"This too shall pass". Always remember that. It has never, yet, proven itself to be false, in my experience. Ruminating on this mantra will make joy sweeter, and discomfort less discouraging. If you feel the darkness creeping into your mind, reach out to someone - anyone - including me, and make a point to be honest about how you feel. Delusion breeds and thrives in self-isolation. If you are stuck in your head its very likely that you end up encouraging yourself into a feedback loop of fear and a resulting inability to take decisive action. When you bounce ideas off of someone you can trust, an outside opinion can help point out the limitations of your understanding in a way that you cannot do on your own.
