This is where everything changes… 🧶✨
Up to this point, it was all soft curves and circular beauty — and then came the corners.
These are the sections I had to crochet on all four sides to begin turning the circle into a square. It’s such an interesting stage in the process, because that’s when the whole piece starts shifting shape and revealing where it’s really going.
Still in progress.
Still a little mysterious.
But slowly, stitch by stitch, it’s becoming something special. 💗

Sunny Blanket: make-a-long by Lilla Bjorn Crochet, launched on 05/02/2020.
After countless hours, a few too many frogs 🐸, and endless ends to tuck in,
I finally completed the Sunny Crochet Blanket using overlay crochet. Patience
may not be my strongest suit, but it sure comes in handy when working on
something this intricate! Feeling humbled and grateful for the process—every
stitch a lesson in persistence, every misstep a reminder to laugh and keep going.

Throwing it back to 2019 when I completed this stunning Ardith pattern by the amazing Vanessa Smith of Hooked On Sunshine 🌸✨! This masterpiece took some serious dedication (and more colors than I care to admit 😅), but it was worth every stitch.
