Laborers and Humanity
Every city stands because of unseen heroes — the laborers who work silently every day.
Last summer, during extreme heat, I saw a road construction worker sharing his drinking water with a stray dog and helping an old man cross the road, even though he was exhausted from hours of hard work. He didn’t do it for money or recognition — he did it because humanity comes first.
Laborers don’t just build roads, buildings, and homes — they build society with their sweat, patience, and sacrifice.
Let’s respect every hardworking hand around us. Humanity is shown through small, kind actions.
Respect Labor. Respect Humanity. ❤️

Today we pause as a nation to remember our journey - a journey marked by pain, courage, forgiveness and hope. The Day of Reconciliation is a public holiday in SA held annually on 16th December. This holiday came into effect in 1995 after the end of Apartheid.
"Instead of hatred & revenge we choose reconciliation & nation-building" - Nelson Mandela
Reconciliation starts in the heart. May the spirit of reconciliation continue to guide our words and actions!
