It took much longer than I expected—I had to do it three times before I was finally satisfied with my performance. It was definitely a challenge, but it was worth pushing through. Every session is a reminder that progress comes with patience and perseverance. 🧘♀️💪
But that’s all part of the journey—slow progress is still progress. 🧘♀️🌿
I was doing yoga by a small pond. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get my legs into the full lotus position 😅 🧘♂️, but I'll keep practicing 💪. There's one spectator in the background—my friend 😊
I did the exercise many times. Once Big Mike came, my cat, then Masha, and finally my dog Hunor, were all curious about what I was doing under the willow tree. They also did yoga with me and wanted to be in the video. 😂🤣
Then I finally managed to be alone, do this very pleasant, relaxing breathing exercise, and release the tension.
#YogaFrom0 week5: Root Chakra (Muladhara) Practice for grounding & stability 🌿🧘♂️
🧘♂️ Sit comfortably with a straight spine (you can sit on a cushion if that feels better for you). 🧘 Place your hands on your knees in Prithvi Mudra (thumb and ring finger touching). 🧘♀️ Focus your mind at the base of your spine. 🧘♂️ Inhale deeply and as you exhale, chant the sound L-A-A-A-M. Feel the vibration resonating at the root of your body. You can repeat this chant 3 times (or more!). 🧘 To finish, bring your hands together at your heart center in Prayer Position (Anjali Mudra). 🧘♀️ Take one last deep breath, bow your head slightly in gratitude and slowly open your eyes when you feel ready. Namaste! 🪷
