One of my Favorite anime movies is PRINCESS MONONOKE
Princess Mononoke is the classic battle of Man and Nature. Bullets and Horns. Progress against the Environment tells the story of Ashitaka, a young Emishi prince cursed by a demonic boar, who gets caught in a fierce conflict between the forest spirits and the humans of Irontown, led by Lady Eboshi, while also encountering San, a young woman raised by wolves, known as the "Princess Mononoke", as for the story, it's a pretty common story. Used in films like Avatar and Pocahontas. But it's not about the story for Princess Mononoke, but its execution. The classic foreigner meets princess of the forest story, but colored in a shade of rich Japanese scenery and lore. The story may be cliche, but the atmosphere and world itself is far from bland.
