a. Do you still user cursive writing in your daily life? If so, when?
In today’s life there’s not much opportunity to write as we’ve evolved into a paperless world, but at any given chance I get, I definitely use cursive writing especially when writing and signing birthday cards, signing my signature on documents or just writing a love letter to my husband😅
b. Do you think schools should continue teaching cursive writing or should they focus more on digital skill? Why?
This is wishful thinking but I would like to see schools continue to teach cursive writing as it’s a very rare and unique art form. But in saying this, and this is only my opinion, cursive writing is not for everyone. I had two kids in primary school learning this art and my daughter would write cursive beautifully whereas my son’s handwriting looked like a doctor’s script😂
c. Has technology changed the way you write and communicate?
For me personally technology has diminished all my writing skills as everything has become digital. All forms are now online and auto filled, so I guess it brings me back to point a. With a paperless world, there’s no need for pen/pencils or writing. But funny enough when prompted to select a font, I always choose a cursive one cause it makes everything look pretty🥰

Thank you for sharing something personal. It's these stories that make the activity so meaningful. I remember that handwriting, from back in the day when I sometimes had to check homework🤣🤣
