Bottle of DRC Echezaux for 580€
On the first day I tried to check everything twice, that its not only a glass or something different.
During day two I convinced myself I just have to try it, to spend that much money unplanned on a bottle, that this is a once in a lifetime chance to taste DRC and the probability is quite high, that they don't have it in stock anymore.
So I asked for it. They said, the have to look for this in the reserve cellar.
After 15 minutes they told me, they don't have it anymore. One guest ordered two bottles during his stay and bought all the other bottles of the case for himself (to sell them probably).
So they just forgot a zero on the price of a DRC. Unfortunately too late. But these guys at an Austrian hotel sold multiple bottles with a loss of around 2k per bottle.
