One thing that people always notice about me is that I talk with my hands a lot when I’m excited. 😭 If I’m telling a funny story or explaining something I really care about, my hands start moving everywhere like I’m acting out the whole scene. Sometimes I even point at random things or clap once without realizing it.
This usually happens when I’m excited, nervous, or super focused in a conversation. I think it’s my way of showing energy and emotion without even thinking about it. When I’m bored or quiet, I barely move at all — but once I get comfortable, the hand gestures appear instantly.
My friends and family laugh about it all the time. Some people even copy my movements as a joke while I’m talking. Honestly, it used to embarrass me a little, but now I find it funny because it makes conversations more lively and shows my personality.
I did try to stop doing it before by keeping my hands still, but it felt awkward and unnatural. Eventually I realized it’s just part of how I express myself, and now I’ve learned to embrace it instead of hiding it. ✨
