Today we celebrate the birthday of legendary photographer Irving Penn ! 📸
To honor his iconic style, your challenge today is to create a striking B&W portrait focused on your face and hands.
Penn used hands to add drama, geometry and emotion to his portraits. Now it's your turn!
📷 Snap a B&W Selfie: The photo must show your face & your hands prominently. Frame your face, rest your chin on your palm or hide part of your face, make the hands the star of the shot! No AI!
📷 Post it on your profile with #IrvingPennTribute and tag
📷 Add a short caption, share a brief thought about your experience making the shot.

I accidentally sent you an extra 200k. Could you please send it back?
Sorry sis, the challenge strictly requires showing your hands along with your face.
