a. No, or only very little. I use cursive at work because I have to check whether the markers write properly, if the tip works well from every angle. So really, the only time I manage to write, or better said, to scribble a bit, is at work.
b. Yes, absolutely! Writing is an art and I think it should continue to be taught. I really hope schools will keep encouraging children to write and draw, otherwise my job would disappear ... what’s the point of checking markers if no one will use them anymore?
c. Yes, I think it has. My handwriting has gotten worse; I remember I used to have beautiful calligraphy and I definitely thought more while writing. I used to send postcards! I loved sending them from the places I visited but now I just send a photo with a heart. Now everything is immediate, I send a WhatsApp message and people reply with an emoji and that’s it! Sad but true! handwriting has become a rare moment of calm in a world that moves too fast.

I enjoyed reading this, it'[s nice to hear how cursive has been part of your life. No worries here in the Cape...my daughter has a whole stationery cupboard, (and still buys every month) 🤭and the girls and I absolutely love using her markers. They definitely get plenty of use😂
