Ra. One (2011) is a Bollywood sci-fi superhero film where Shah Rukh Khan plays two major characters: Shekhar Subramanium, a game designer, and G .One, a digital superhero who comes to life. Shekhar creates an advanced video game where the villain, Ra .One, is designed to be stronger than the hero in order to impress his son. However, the artificial intelligence inside the game becomes too powerful, causing Ra .One to break out of the virtual world and enter the real one to hunt the player “Lucifer,” who is actually Shekhar’s son. After Ra. One kills Shekhar, a system glitch brings the hero G .One into the real world to protect the boy and his mother. G. One, equipped with super strength, speed, and energy-based powers, battles Ra. One in a series of high-action fights across reality and the gaming world. The film ends with a final showdown where G .One defeats Ra. One, fulfilling his promise to safeguard the family.
