City of Ember (2008): A Thrilling Movie of a Dystopian Future

Anyway, for me this is a great fantasy movie because it's an answer to some "what if?" questions that I'm sure many people have thought of at some point. It is a story of a civilization living underground for 2 centuries. And as you can see in the trailer, yep, their time has run out. What are they to do next? And this is also how I found out about the actress Saoirse Ronan.
The trailer is too fast paced for my taste but it gives you a better sense of what it's all about. I was greatly entertained while watching the movie back then. How about you, have you seen this film too?
