Surprising Syrah from Temecula.
Coincidentally met one of the 68 owners of this property and got this bottle from them. Drinks very well for a 20yr old. High acidity remains but the tannins have largely disappeared. I’d say is low in tannin like a Beaujolais at this point. Plenty of tertiary black fruit (a little plummy). Overall, very surprised.
This is definitely a drink now. Not sure how many are out there.
