For the Teenage Movies theme, I’m choosing October Sky.
This movie is about a teenage boy, Homer Hickam, who becomes inspired by rockets after seeing Sputnik in the sky. Even though his father wants him to work in the coal mines, he follows his dream and starts building rockets with his friends.
What I love about this movie is how it shows teenage ambition, friendship, and the power of education. It proves that even if your background is small, your dreams can be big.
