Been looking for a long time and finally decided to do the whole Costco sushi thing, bought it and left it in my fridge for a day (maybe this is why?), then I did the whole cut into pieces and salt/sugar cure for 30 minutes. However, the fishy smell still kind of stuck so I reapplied the salt/sugar and left it for 20 hours.
Sadly, I checked on it a couple minutes ago and it's still got that fishy smell after I washed it and patted it dry unlike the scentless fish served at restaurants. I don't want to but am I forced to just cook it? Or is there a way to finally get the smell out? #drink #food source
