Hook(1991) Phil Collins
Singer Phil Collins turned actor to this movie in 1991. That scene in the Peter Pan-based Hook where the kids go missing and the cops come to the house to investigate, and Robin Williams and his wife are exasperated, and the cop questioning them is Phil Collins, and — what? Phil Collins was in Hook ? He was! Collins plays the priggish police officer who suggests, with a heel raise, that the children’s disappearance is a “prank.” It is a credit to Collins’ acting chops that he did not stick out in a room full of professionals, playing the role with a light (or dare we say, invisible) touch. This movie made me relax and enjoy watching with my friend.
