People always talk about age gaps like they’re a problem… but honestly, I think it depends on the connection, not the number.
For me, age gap is NOT a dealbreaker. If two people understand each other, respect each other, and grow together, it can actually be something beautiful.
My comfort range: 5–8 years
I feel like this range still allows both people to relate, while also bringing different life experiences.
I would prefer being the younger one —
because I feel I can learn, grow, and feel more secure with someone a bit more experienced in life.
One real tip:
Don’t rush it. Age gap relationships need extra communication and patience. Talk openly about expectations, goals, and lifestyle differences early on.
