Schiavenza - Cerretta Barolo -2016
What a gorgeous Barolo. Great time to open it up. Notes of flowers and red fruit (and maybe a little VA?) .. but this transforms in the glass. The roses fully bloom. The tannins are slowly losing grip, but still there. Herbs, tar and all the good stuff in the palette.
Paired with a tofu chili and sourdough bread. Picked up on auction for $45
