The Passenger makes me reflect on how sometimes we become so dissatisfied with our own lives that we imagine becoming someone else might finally bring us peace. But can we ever truly escape ourselves, or do we simply carry our inner struggles into a new identity? Jack Nicholson is remarkable in this role, and Antonioni’s direction seems to invite us to reflect on identity, freedom, and the loneliness that can exist even when we try to start over. I think the film's greatest strength is that it leaves us with questions that linger long after the final scene. ✨πŸŽ₯πŸ’

What a fascinating choice! The idea of escaping your own life by assuming someone else’s identity, only to uncover a dangerous reality, makes this such a compelling storyπŸŽ¬πŸ‘πŸΌ
