The other day, while chatting with
about these fish randomly flying in the sky, as if gravity forgot to show up that day 🤣 “Arizona Dream” came to mind.(Yes, because Sylvie brightens my mornings with her fantasies. 🤩) So, I picked Arizona Dream (1993), directed by Emir Kusturica, with a stellar cast: Johnny Depp as the New York nephew, lost in surreal visions like a recurring dream of an Inuit hunter and a flying halibut fish; his cousin, the fantastic Vincent Gallo—OMG! I’ll never forget his brilliant reenactment of the crop duster scene from "North by Northwest"! Then there’s the uncle, the legendary Jerry Lewis, trying to lure his young nephew into the family Cadillac business. The stunning Faye Dunaway as a widow obsessed with building a flying machine, and her stepdaughter, the wonderful Lili Taylor, a depressed dreamer who longs to be reborn as a turtle.😁 All of this is accompanied by a dreamy soundtrack composed by Goran Bregović. The movie really captivates with surreal vibes, a truly gem for fantasy lovers.✨🎬🍿🤩
