PEE MAK (2013) - a Thai supernatural romantic comedy-horror film and adaptation of the Mae Nak Phra Khanong legend of Thai folklore.
I liked this film because it is not just a story about horror but it depicts the love between husband and wife. In this film, the husband was forced to leave his pregnant wife to serve in a war. The husband then came back home with his friends he met during the war. With all the rumors surrounding the husband, he didn't mind it all. He just wanted to be with his wife even though he himself is scared. At the end of the film, the husband chooses to stay with his ghost wife.
It is also a story of friendship because the four friends he met during the war stayed with him and his wife in the end. The five friends vowed that they will not leave each other again.
