Wow… I was surprised to see that this Sauternes had so much acidity and vibrancy, with peach, apricot, and pineapple leading on the palette. Not overly sweet at all, and only a hint of orange marmalade, ginger, and raisin. It honestly has tasted similar to younger Sauternes I have had lately, albeit with a stronger mouth feel and much longer finish. A flier from an auction lot that paid off.
