Whether you walked with us during Editions 1–5 or are joining Tangled Steps for the very first time, there is room for you on this path.
After a six-month pause, we are not returning to chase perfection or punish ourselves with impossible expectations. We are returning to move honestly, encourage one another and complete the final chapter of Season 1 together.

📅 Monday, 3 August–Sunday, 9 August 2026
⏳ Submission deadline:
Sunday, 9 August at 23:59—your local time
Late entries cannot be added after the deadline, so please do not leave your post until the final minute. Technology enjoys drama far more than we do. 😅

🏆 WEEKLY REWARDS
🥇 1st: 900,000 MLX
🥈 2nd: 550,000 MLX
🥉 3rd: 350,000 MLX
🏅 4th–20th: 50,000 MLX each
👟 21st–30th: 25,000 MLX each
A maximum of 30 ranked participants will receive weekly placement rewards.
Valid entries outside the rewarded Top 30 may still count toward the participant’s Edition 6 streak and Finale eligibility.
🎁 WEEKLY CONSISTENCY BONUS
One randomly selected valid participant outside the Top 3 will receive:
100,000 MLX
Weekly podium winners receive their podium prize only and are not eligible for the Consistency Bonus that week.
💎 FINALE REWARD RESERVE
A further 1,000,000 MLX from each regular week is being reserved to help create a much larger reward fund for the Edition 6 Season 1 Finale.
Any unused weekly placement rewards may also be carried into the Finale fund.

Every valid weekly entry that finishes outside the Top 3 earns:
🎟️ One Lucky Wheelspin Ticket
To qualify for the Finale Wheelspin, you must:

✅ Complete the Finale Week
❌ Not finish in the Finale Top 3
Finishing in the Top 3 during an earlier week does not remove you from Finale eligibility. It simply means you do not receive a Wheelspin Ticket for that particular week.
The Season 1 Finale Wheelspin prize will be:

Tangled Steps is built on honest movement.
✅ One real participant
✅ One Tangled account
✅ One Week 1 entry
✅ Original proof from your own tracking app
The following are not permitted:
🚫 Recycled screenshots
🚫 Proof copied from another participant
🚫 The same proof submitted through multiple accounts
🚫 Altered step totals or manipulated dates
🚫 Duplicate or misleading entries
Additional verification may be requested before rewards are paid, particularly for podium placements, duplicate-looking totals or unusual screenshots.
This may include:
📱 An additional screenshot from inside the app
📹 A brief screen recording opening the tracker and showing the weekly summary
🗓️ Confirmation of the relevant dates and totals
Refusing reasonable verification may result in the entry being excluded.
Cheating, manipulated evidence or coordinated account farming will result in disqualification of all connected entries. 🚫

🤝 VERIFIED TIES
Two honest participants can occasionally finish with the same verified step total.
When a tie affects podium positions, the prizes for the affected positions will be combined and divided equally between the tied participants.
No honest Hotsteppa will be penalised simply for landing on the same number of steps.

I read everything carefully, and it occurred to me that I could continue with my Healthy Steps, and you could compete too. I just need to cut back a little on the budget because I've gone over the 5M limit in the last two weeks.
