Poltergeist (2015)
I love Poltergeist because it has everything I want in a good supernatural horror movie, a haunted house, creepy paranormal activity, mysterious spirits, and that constant feeling that something is very, very wrong. π±π
What I enjoy most is watching an ordinary family home slowly turn into a place where absolutely nothing feels safe. Every strange sound, shadow, and unexplained event keeps the tension going. ππ» And letβs be honest, after watching a movie like this, suddenly the TV turning on by itself at night doesn't seem funny anymore. ππΊ
Definitely one of those movies that makes me say: βNope, Iβm not sleeping in that house!β π€£π»

The Conjuring, The Others, The Changeling, and The Haunting definitely have that same spooky atmosphere for me. But thereβs something about Poltergeist that still hits differently!

Exactly! The Conjuring and those others lean into that grand gothic dread, but Poltergeist (2015) makes it so much more unsettling by turning an ordinary suburban house into a slow nightmare where even the TV feels like a threat. That intimate paranoia sticks with you way longer.
