NO String Attached Policy refers to a rule or guideline of a company that prohibits romantic relationships or personal affairs between a supervisor and colleagues to maintain professionalism and prevent conflicts and favoritism.
So for me if Super Mario and Lucila's relationship affects professional judgement and creates favoritism in the workplace, they violate the company policy.

If I am Super Mario I will seek advice from the HR who is in charge of the company policy, and discuss it with the management, to clarify the specifics of the " No Strings Attached Policy " and to see if there are any loopholes or exceptions.
3. If you are LUCILA how are you going to save Super Mario from the said rules?
If I were Lucila, I would communicate with HR and the Management like what Super Mario did.
Then discuss the situation and highlight that our relationship doesn't affect professional duties. But if the company policy doesn't change, it is better to explore other job opportunities where our relationship wouldn't be an issue.
