The world will try to change you. It'll tell you to be harder, colder, more selfish, more like everybody else. 🥀
It'll tell you that your kindness is weakness, that your softness is a flaw, that your morals are outdated. And little by little, if you're not careful, you'll start to change. 💔
You'll dim your light to make others comfortable. 🕯️ You'll compromise your values to fit in. You'll become someone you don't even recognize to be accepted.
But at what cost? 🥺
Fitting into an ugly society means becoming ugly yourself. It means trading your soul for acceptance from people who don't even know who they are. That's not worth it. 🖤
