The Ritual (2017) is a horror movie about four friends who go on a hiking trip in a remote forest in Sweden to honor their friend who passed away. While walking through the forest, they decide to take a shortcut but it turns out to be a big mistake.
The deeper they go into the forest, the stranger and scarier things become. They start seeing disturbing visions and feel like something is watching them. The forest is dark, creepy, and full of secrets. They soon discover that an ancient, evil presence lives there something connected to a strange cult and a terrifying creature.
The movie is about fear, guilt, and friendship, and it keeps you on edge as the friends try to survive the nightmare in the woods.
