Topic : One of the Barangay officials literacy requirement is limited only that he/she must “able to read and write” . But few of the politicians now were suggesting to change it with qualification that must have finished a College degree and with civil service eligibility to upgrade the educational level of the electionist/candidates for purposes of community empowerment.
How ever, some opposes and recommends further that to be able to serve the
community only a clean heart with a simple requirement of knowing how to read and write should still be the primary requirement so that the fair play can be excellently served its purpose to all running candidates.
Questions:
1. Which one do you prefer, with qualifications or without qualifications of having a College degree education?

Interesting topic! Requiring a college degree and civil service eligibility could raise the bar for barangay officials, but it might also limit access for capable leaders from smaller communities. What are your thoughts on balancing qualifications with inclusivity?
