Since I’m on vacation and everything feels carefree, everything is beautiful! slow, without schedules… truly wonderful.
One of the best moments yesterday, I have to admit, was the eclipse! We spent the whole day getting ready for it. We checked where the best view would be, we brought the glasses we still had from the eclipse back in ’99, and we even bought cider to celebrate… it was fantastic!
The hardest part was the traffic around that moment. People seemed completely crazy. There was no parking where we wanted to go, people had already been waiting there for hours… and the traffic on the roads was insane. Unbelievable! Luckily, we remembered that we didn’t need to go to that specific beach. We just needed a flat spot, nothing blocking the view, somewhere we could see the sky clearly. In the end, we stopped in a field not far from the road and enjoyed the moment. Amazing!
Unfortunately I couldn’t capture the show, I only had my phone with me.

I don’t think anyone loves heavy traffic but thankfully you found the perfect spot and didn’t let it spoil the moment. Sometimes the best memories are the ones we simply experience rather than capture ❤️

Thank you! ❤️ And yes… I’m so glad the traffic didn’t ruin that sky show for us. It was absolutely wonderful! all thanks to those legendary ’99 glasses still going strong after 25 years! 😅😎
