I have personally seen how infidelity can completely destroy a person’s emotional world.
One of my very close friends was engaged to her cousin, her aunt’s son, and she truly valued that relationship with all her heart.
They shared a deep emotional connection, and she believed he was sincere and loyal to her.
She trusted him and was fully committed to building a future together.
However, slowly his behavior started changing, and he began distancing himself without clear reasons.
Later, he chose to marry a colleague from his office, leaving my friend heartbroken and abandoned.
That betrayal was not just about ending a relationship, it was about breaking trust and crushing someone’s confidence.
My friend suffered emotionally and even physically; she remained unwell for a long time because the pain affected her deeply.
Watching her struggle made me realize that infidelity is not a small mistake, it can leave permanent scars.
For me, if someone knowingly chooses another person while being committed, that is a clear line that cannot be crossed.
Trust is the foundation of love, and once trust is broken intentionally, it becomes impossible to rebuild the same bond.
That is why my answer is NO WAY — loyalty and honesty are non-negotiable in my life.
