For many years, this magnificent grape variety was mistaken for Merlot. It is a variety that adapts uniquely to Chile, producing a red wine with silky, well-integrated tannins, balanced acidity, and a pleasantly warming alcohol presence. There is a touch of oak. I was pleasantly surprised; I recommend it.
