Patience I give myself patience when things don’t go perfectly or when I feel overwhelmed. It counts as a payment because instead of attacking myself for being slow or emotional, I allow myself time to breathe and continue gently.
• Kindness I try to speak to myself with kindness, even on difficult days. This is a payment to myself because positive self-talk helps me feel emotionally safe and reminds me that I deserve care too.
• Rest Attempts Even when I’m busy or stressed, I still try to rest, pause, or give myself quiet moments. It counts because rest is a way of respecting my mind and body instead of treating myself like a machine.
2. What “payment” do you feel you’re missing from yourself?
Self-care I feel like I don’t give myself enough real self-care because I often focus more on responsibilities and other people’s needs first. Sometimes I ignore my own emotions or needs until I feel exhausted. Missing this payment affects me by making me feel drained, emotionally heavy, and disconnected from myself.
3. If you had a “refund” day, what would you take back?
Overthinking and self-judgment If I had a refund day, I would take back the energy I wasted doubting myself and replaying mistakes in my mind. I would use that refunded space differently by focusing on peace, creativity, rest, and things that genuinely make me feel calm and happy instead of emotionally tired.
