1. What is BOUNDARY (in my own words)?
A boundary means knowing your limits and protecting your peace. It is when you decide what behavior you will accept and what you will not. It helps you respect yourself and teaches others how to treat you.
2. Three red flags that are “once is enough” for me:
• Disrespect
If someone disrespects me, talks down to me, or makes me feel small, that is enough.
👉 If it happens again: I will distance myself and stop giving them access to my time and energy.
• Lying
Trust is very important. If someone lies to me once, it breaks that trust.
👉 If it happens again: I will not rely on them anymore and will walk away from the relationship.
• Ignoring / Lack of effort
If someone constantly ignores me or makes me feel unimportant, it shows I don’t matter to them.
👉 If it happens again: I will stop chasing and focus on people who value me.
3. Have I ever let someone hurt me more than once? What happened?
Yes, I have. I kept thinking things would change, but they didn’t. The same behavior repeated, and I ended up feeling more hurt and disappointed. That experience taught me that ignoring red flags only brings more pain.
4. One thing I would tell someone about “once is enough”:
Respect yourself early. Don’t wait for repeated pain to prove something is wrong. One clear red flag is already a message — listen to it.
Correction Note:
I would like to mention a small correction in my paperwork. I accidentally swapped the explanations for the first and second red flags. The text meant for the first red flag was written under the second one, and the text meant for the second red flag was written under the first one. However, I have added clear arrows to indicate the correct connection and order. The arrows accurately guide each red flag to its intended explanation. Apart from this placement mistake, everything else has been completed according to the instructions and is clearly represented. 😊
