Looking for advice

I was gifted this bottle recently as a leaving gift from work. Any comments on storage, how and when to enjoy would be much appreciated. I’m a novice in all regards although I do appreciate a good glass when out in a restaurant from time to time

Is this poundcake ok?

First time making it. It tastes good and looks ok, I'm just not sure whether it's a pound cake or just a cake 😆.

Burgeon Brewing - San Diego area

Citra-By-The-Sea hazy IPA. All Citra. Tasted like candy. At their Escondido location. Had a lot of good IPAs on tap, as always. Also had their way too limited time American Gold lager. Maybe the best plain lager I've ever had. Seriously.

A mini dessert platter including little chocolate Mickey domes on Oreos!

The details on these were so cute! The standout was definitely the mini chocolate mousse domes sitting on an Oreo base, but the little tart and strawberry cake slices were great too!

How do I transport cakes without damaging them?

I’m making some cakes for my cousins engagement party next weekend and will have to travel around 90 minutes to get there. It’s in Wales so may have some winding country roads to contend with at some point too!

I’m planning to make mini sandwich cakes like the ones in the picture (no idea what they’re actually called!). What’s the best way to transport these?

I was thinking maybe make the sandwich part at home and refrigerate and wrap them, and then decorate the tops when I get there? Is there a smarter way to do this, or is my best option just assembling the entire things there? I will be travelling with a 3 year old and 6 month old so ideally the more I can get done on my own the night before the better.

Any advice on this is appreciated! Thanks :)

Underrated Beer Style

Black IPA

When done right, it has a balance not many other styles can match.

Yesterday I had Treacherous Black IPA at Iron Key Brewing (it's located at an old prison) in WNC and it was delicious!
