Title: The Rock (1996)
The Rock is a 1996 American action thriller film directed by Michael Bay and starring Sean Connery and Nicolas Cage.
I've seen it many times; I can't get enough of it!
Short plot: War hero General Francis Hummel decides to take a desperate step: he and his loyal commandos capture the Alcatraz prison island and take the tourists there hostage. Hummel demands $100 million from the government, which he wants to distribute to the families of his soldiers who fell in secret operations but were forgotten. If his demands are not met, he will fire missiles equipped with deadly nerve gas from the island at the population of neighboring San Francisco.

Movie: Kanguva (2024)
Kanguva was a Tamil movie that I watched because my most favorite actor Suriya was in lead role. The whole movie was picturized in a mysterious island area.
This movie is a fantasy-action epic starring Suriya that heavily incorporates a historical plotline spanning five different mysterious islands dedicated to elemental deities like fire and water.

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island (2012) follows 17 year-old Sean Anderson, who receives a coded distress signal that he believes comes from his missing grandfather, Alexander. With the help of his stepfather Hank, helicopter pilot Gabato, and Gabato’s daughter Kailani, Sean travels to a mysterious island in the South Pacific. When they reach the island, they discover strange animals, hidden treasures, and Alexander, who has been living there. However, they soon learn that the island is becoming unstable and will eventually sink beneath the sea. The group must find a way to escape while rescuing one another from dangerous creatures, a volcano, and other obstacles before the island disappears.
