I tried to get the right pose and look to the side, I tried a lot, maybe this photo turned out the best. I enjoyed every moment of this beautiful art challenge.
This challenge gave me the opportunity to step into the colorful world of Fauvism and recreate the mood of Kees van Dongen's The Poppy. I used a bright red dupatta to capture the bold style of the original painting and carefully posed with my shoulders turned, my face toward the camera, and my eyes looking to the side to match the artwork's expressive gaze.
I enjoyed exploring how colors, expression, and simple styling can transform an ordinary photo into something inspired by classic art. It was a fun and creative experience, and I learned to appreciate the beauty of Fauvist portraits even more.
