🍂💜 While many countries are enjoying autumn, with its beautiful, colorful leaves, here in Mauritius, we have our own little November magic, the gorgeous Novembrier trees! 🌳💜🌸
Unlike countries with four distinct seasons, Mauritius has only two main seasons, summer and winter. 🌞🌧️ As summer approaches, our beautiful Novembrier trees burst into bloom, decorating the island with gorgeous purple blossoms. 🌳💜
The tree gets its name from its flowering season, which often coincides with November, making it a special symbol of this time of year in Mauritius.
I may not get to enjoy the golden autumn leaves, but I absolutely love seeing Mauritius dressed in purple!
