ππ While many countries are enjoying autumn, with its beautiful, colorful leaves, here in Mauritius, we have our own little November magic, the gorgeous Novembrier trees! π³ππΈ
Unlike countries with four distinct seasons, Mauritius has only two main seasons, summer and winter. ππ§οΈ As summer approaches, our beautiful Novembrier trees burst into bloom, decorating the island with gorgeous purple blossoms. π³π
The tree gets its name from its flowering season, which often coincides with November, making it a special symbol of this time of year in Mauritius.
I may not get to enjoy the golden autumn leaves, but I absolutely love seeing Mauritius dressed in purple!
π₯°π It's one of those little things that makes living here so special and reminds me how beautiful nature is in every corner of the world.
