This is a 5 Rupees silver coin from Pakistan. I took pictures of both sides of the coin with #Silvercountry to show that the picture is authentic.
This coin is special because it is made of silver, unlike regular coins. Silver coins were historically used as real money and are a part of our history. Collecting such coins helps us remember our culture and the value of precious metals.
This 5 Rupees coin is made with a silver alloy, making it both durable and valuable. Coins like these were often issued for special events or commemorations, showing the rich history of Pakistan.
Finally here! 🤩 my silver coin has arrived. Ok, I bought it for the occasion 🤣but also because I’m a Santa Maria Novella Calcio Storico fan!🙌 It’s gonna cost me a pizza but totally worth it.
So, this is an Italian 5 euro commemorative coin dedicated to Calcio Storico Fiorentino and specifically to Santa Maria Novella, my team.🤩 These coins are minted to celebrate cultural heritage, history and iconic traditions. - Metal: Silver - Purity: 92.5% - Issued by: Istituto Poligrafico e Zecca dello Stato (Italian State Mint) - Year: 2006
Calcio Storico Fiorentino is a spectacular mix of football, rugby & wrestling that transforms the beautiful Piazza Santa Croce into a Renaissance arena every June. A centuries old tradition that hasn’t lost its charm: history, neighborhood pride and pure physical power! (the friend’s son I bought the coin from plays for Santa Maria Novella team! 😍)
The matches take place in June during the celebrations for San Giovanni, the city’s patron saint and it’s a major event! tourists from all over the world come to watch.
Here are the four teams: Santa Maria Novella — red — sun Santa Croce — blue — cross Santo Spirito — white — dove San Giovanni — green — dragon
Last year the Reds of Santa Maria Novella won. Yuppie!🙌💯 Let’s see who takes the victory this year… I’m ready to cheer for the Reds! (I attached a photo of my friend’s son — a proud Santa Maria Novella player, a Red in every cell.😁)
As a non-numismatist and a newcomer to this country, we have been utilizing our coins to purchase bus tickets, but I was pleased to discover that these dime coins still held value.
This image shows a 1964 Canadian 10-cent coin or a dime. Made up of 80% silver, 20% copper. Weighing 2.33 grams with diameter of 18.03 mm. Possible value is $1.2 - $1.6 CAD depending on the coin condition. Shiny collector coin is about $6 - $8 CAD.
The reverse features the famous Bluenose fishing schooner, a legendary racing and fishing schooner from Nova Scotia, designed by Emanuel Hahn. It became a symbol of Canadian maritime heritage and pride. On the obverse side is the former queen, Queen Elizabeth II , designed by Mary Gillick.
The 1964 dime was minted by the Royal Canadian Mint. It was among the last few years of Canadian dimes made with high silver content, because by 1968 Canada switched to nickel dimes due to rising silver prices.
