βWhere a colonial hand marked out the zone.
βA border 800 kilometers long,
βWhere history declares the other wrong.

βThe cannons boom, the heavy shell is cast,
βIgnoring all the treaties of the past.
βFor ancient temples rise on contested ground,
βAnd bitter history makes a fearful sound.

βThe soldier falls, the farmer leaves his home,
βA weary exodus, forced to blindly roam.
βThe children ask: "Why must this bloodshed start,
βTo claim a relic, tear a world apart?"

βLet the old map be folded, put away.
βPeace is richer than a single shrine,
βAnd life is worth more than a disputed line.
βLay down the arms, before the rising sun,
βLet the fighting cease, and let the peace be won.
