Some betrayals cut deeper when they happen in front of others. When bystanders watch, the pain doesn’t just stay private—it gets etched into the memory as something public and permanent. Their reactions (silence, laughter, siding with the other person, or pretending nothing happened) can turn a hurt into something that burns even longer.
This activity is a safe, structured way to name one publicly witnessed betrayal and release its grip. Psychology shows that naming painful experiences reduces their power over us. #ExposedEtch turns that naming into something visible: a quick, honest “etching” of what happened, how it felt, and what label you gave the person who hurt you.
Name ONE publicly witnessed betrayal you experienced:
1. Perpetrator + Context: Who did it, and what was the setting where others knew?
2. The Public Incident: Exact details of what unfolded in view.
3. Witness Impact: How bystanders' reactions made it unforgivable.
4. Permanent Label: What identity or label did you forever assign them after that moment?
MANDATORY: It's not part of this activity to mention anyone or use your default mention for fellow Tanglers—whoever you mention won't be able to read your comment within 72 hours anyway, so STOP that. Anyone who does will incur a 100k DEDUCTION. TRY ME.
Also, anyone who has a deleted comment (even if you comment again) will not be rewarded.

2. DEDUCTIONS
• 30k - Failure to include any or all of the ff: correct tag #ExposedEtch and mentions:
• 30k-100k - Failure to follow the task format and explain in complete thought
• 30k – Failure to include the required statement
• 100k - Failure to follow the required correct attachment ( minor mistakes = deductions only )
3. ALL deductions from rule-breakers will be split evenly among participants who followed every rule.
In cases where the deductions are significantly larger and the participants who followed the rules do not exceed half of the capped entries, a portion of the deduction will be allocated to standout entries. Meanwhile, those who complied with the rules will also receive their share.
