1. What is "presumption of innocence" in your own understanding?
The presumption of innocence means that every person accused of wrongdoing is considered innocent until proven guilty. It is a legal and moral principle that protects individuals from being punished or judged unfairly before there is enough evidence to prove their guilt. This ensures that everyone receives a fair chance to explain their side and that decisions are not made based on assumptions, rumors, or emotions.
2. Elaborate or discuss the thoughtless expression made by Lucas to you and to your group if there is any. Do you think there is a maltreatment of employees or it was just an expression made out of his anger as he was dismayed with the result of the trading?
Lucas’s statement, “You are all morons, you made our stocks lose,” was clearly inappropriate and unprofessional. As a leader, using such words in a work setting can be damaging to employee morale and could be considered a form of verbal abuse. However, understanding the background—his upbringing under a military father who often used similar language,provides some insight into why he might react that way under pressure.
Even though it may have been an emotional outburst due to frustration, it still reflects poor judgment and a lack of emotional control. In a professional environment, leaders are expected to handle stress without demeaning others. Therefore, while it may not be intentional maltreatment, the impact on employees is still harmful, and it could reasonably be viewed as verbal mistreatment.
3. Will you be influenced by the Manager?
Answer: No.
As a responsible employee, I would not be influenced by the manager purely out of emotion or loyalty. Instead, I would base my judgment on facts and fairness. While I acknowledge that what Lucas said was wrong and unprofessional, I also believe in giving people the chance to explain themselves. Filing a case should be based on the actual harm done and whether there is a pattern of such behavior,not just a single outburst.
If the manager is pushing others to file a case purely out of personal insult or anger without considering the full context, I would be cautious and maintain objectivity. Everyone deserves a fair process, including Lucas.

Road Rage Accident - Chewy Chucoo' s Driver - Do not put the law in your hands "calm down and think, be reasonable" 🙏I will still deliver my chucooolatess... on the last mountain of Mt Tralala...
Here is my discussion/narration:
It was a foggy morning on the upper ridges of Mt. Tralala where only 2 things survive: Chewy Chucoo’s choclates and people with questionable road patience. Suddenly, a shrill screeeech breaks the silence, 2 vehicles face-off at a sharp bend. One belongs to the Chewy Chucoo Chocolate Delivery Empire & the other a shiny overconfident SUV with LED lights brighter than its driver’s moral compass.
Out steps the delivery man, Chewy himself clutching the sacred cargo: a box of bittersweet truffle bombs. He is so so calm. A storm inside but a lake outside. The SUV’s driver rants, raves and tells "Do NOT test me!". But Chewy with wisdom and chocolate-induced zen, simply replies: "Do not put the law in your hands... Calm down and think! Be reasonable. These are not just mere chocolates. This is a mission to be done at fast!"
Legally speaking, this is your classic quasi-delict tango : both parties slightly at fault. One overtaking on a blind curve the other distracted But Chewy doesn’t escalate. He knows the rule of the road and the rule of life: the cooler head always wins especially if it’s transporting sweets to starving monks on the last peak of Mt. Tralala.
As the SUV owner fumes and threatens over a lawsuit , Chewy calmly sets a boundary. He invokes the ancient highway proverb: “He who delivers sweetness must never taste bitterness.” They exchanged insurance details like civilized gladiators and Chewy drives off, leaving a waft of cocoa and peace behind.
In the end, it wasn’t about the blame. It was about Chewy's will to de-escalate to protect the mission and most importantly, to not let road rage derail a mountain-top delivery of national importance.
Heroes wear capes yes at all times, but sometimes, they drive rash with these 😀😀full of love-filled chocolates!
