Although not in recent years (due to lack of time), I have always been quite keen on Stephen King’s novels. I have never been too impressed with the film versions of his books, but there are a few that I really did appreciate. The Dark Tower was one, and another, fitting this week’s theme is DREAMCATCHER (2003) .
Based on the 2001 novel, Dreamcatcher is a gripping fusion of sci-fi, horror, and psychological thriller, with typical King storytelling.
Four friends with psychic abilities are on a hunting trip in the Maine woods and are confronted with an otherworldly threat. With engaging visuals and a talented ensemble cast (including Morgan Freeman and Donnie Wahlberg), the movie combines elements of science fiction, horror, and psychological thriller.
An intriguing and chilling experience that lingers in the mind, exploring themes of friendship, the unknown, and human resilience.

One of the best Alien movies for me is "Independence Day".
Its still one of the best movies with Will Smith, and a really great cast.
The action is really cool, and the CGI was back in that time groundbreaking.
Furthermore the story really catches!

Attack the Block follows an unlucky young woman and a gang of tough inner city kids who make an unlikely alliance to try to defend their turf against an invasion of savage alien creatures, turning a South London apartment complex into an intergalactic war-zone.
To me this is a cult classic because it revolves around places I know too well. Nick Frost is hilarious in it and it was the movie that launched John Boyega (star wars) carrier. also the soundtrack is awesome and I have been playing it since the movie came out 12 yrs ago. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0ntk1o4V3k
